If you’re here, I want to thank you for trusting me with your skin.
Your tattoo is more than ink — it’s art, emotion, and collaboration. I’ve done my part; now it’s up to you to protect and nurture our creation.
Proper tattoo aftercare is essential for keeping your realism, surrealism, abstract, or black & grey tattoo vibrant and defined for years to come. Whether you got tattooed by me in Bucharest or Cheltenham, follow these steps to help your tattoo heal beautifully.
Do’s — Take Care of Our Work
1. Follow My InstructionsEvery tattoo is unique. Follow the personal aftercare advice I gave you during our session for the best results.
2. Keep It CleanGently wash your tattoo with warm water and fragrance-free soap. Pat dry — never rub. Clean skin heals faster and prevents infection.
3. Moisturize CorrectlyUse Sorry Mom Tattoo Balm — it’s water-based and tattoo-safe. Apply a thin layer, then remove the excess with a paper towel. This step, though tedious, allows your skin to breathe and promotes optimal healing.
4. Protect from the SunAfter healing, always use SPF 30+ sunscreen. UV rays fade tattoos fast — especially black and grey realism or surrealism tattoos.
5. Stay HydratedHealthy, hydrated skin supports faster recovery and keeps your tattoo looking bright and smooth.
6. Be PatientHealing takes time — don’t pick, scratch, or peel your tattoo. Let your body do its work naturally.
Don’ts — Avoid These Mistakes
1. Don’t Soak Your TattooAvoid swimming, long baths, or saunas until your tattoo fully heals. Prolonged moisture can cause fading or infection.
2. Skip Petroleum-Based ProductsThese suffocate your skin and slow down healing. Stick to breathable, tattoo-safe balms or lotions.
3. Avoid Tight ClothingFriction and heat can irritate fresh tattoos. Choose clean, loose, breathable clothing.
4. Keep It Out of Direct SunlightToo much UV exposure can dull even the best realism or hyperrealism tattoos. Protect your investment.
5. Don’t Stop Caring After It HealsKeep moisturizing and shielding your tattoo from the sun to maintain its detail and contrast over time.
Your Tattoo Is Our Story
Every piece I create — in Bucharest or Cheltenham — carries my passion for realism, surrealism, and black & grey tattoo art. I put two decades of experience and artistry into every design, and I’m grateful you chose me to bring your vision to life.
Now, it’s your turn to care for it — to protect the details, preserve the depth, and let your tattoo age beautifully.
If you ever have questions about your healing process or need advice, feel free to reach out. Your tattoo isn’t just ink — it’s a living work of art we built together.
